The Fujian-Guangdong Interconnection Converter Station Project is a key project under the national power development “14th Five-Year Plan.” Located in Mapu Township, Yunxiao County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province, the project covers an area of 17 hectares and will establish a 303-kilometer transmission corridor with a transmission capacity of 2,000 megawatts. It will serve as the second interconnection channel between the State Grid and the Southern Power Grid.
