The Zhejiang North ±800kV Converter Station plays a crucial role in transmitting clean energy from the Baihetan Hydropower Station. The transmission capacity is upgraded to a maximum of 8 million kilowatts, with the daily transmission volume being sufficient to meet the annual electricity consumption of 211,000 people. Through the Bai-Zhe Project, clean hydropower from Sichuan can be delivered to Zhejiang in just 7 milliseconds, annually replacing 10.57 million tons of coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 19.19 million tons.
