RVV cable, fully known as copper core PVC insulated PVC sheath flexible cable, is also referred to as a lightweight PVC insulated PVC sheath cable, commonly known as a soft sheath wire. RVV cables consist of two or more RV wires with an additional sheath. RVV cables are commonly used in low-voltage systems, with an indefinite number of core wires, typically two or more, and are covered with a PVC sheath. The letter “R” represents a flexible wire, and the letter “V” stands for PVC insulation.

1.Conductor Type: The conductor is made of multi-strand fine copper wires twisted together, offering strong flexibility.

2.Insulation Properties: The insulation is made from modified flexible environmentally friendly PVC material, which is oil-resistant, waterproof, corrosion-resistant, and able to withstand high and low temperatures. It also has high mechanical strength, excellent chemical stability, and dielectric properties.

3.Applicable Environment: -10℃ to 70℃

4.Applicable Products: Used for power connections of household appliances, small electric tools, instruments, and lighting devices with an AC rated voltage of 300/300V or below for indoor use.

5.Usage Characteristics:

① The long-term allowable working temperature of the cable conductor does not exceed 70°C, and the installation environment temperature should not be lower than 0°C.

② The product has a temperature rating of 70°C, and some products can be manufactured according to standards for 90°C or 105°C types. When designing for production, special attention is given to the cable’s flexibility and electrical performance.

③ The bending radius of cables with an outer diameter of less than 25mm should be no less than 4 times the outer diameter of the cable. For cables with an outer diameter of 25mm or more, the bending radius should be no less than 6 times the outer diameter of the cable.

④ The core wire is made of special materials resistant to bending, ensuring the best bending resistance. If the cable does not need to be moved during use, it can be laid in conduits or cable trays.

This product is mainly designed for power distribution lines and for use at the rated voltage of 300/500V AC in:electric power systems,industrial systems new energy systems, building systems, airport infrastructures, petroleum, natural gas and chemical engineering,wind power generation, wharfs, harbors,lighthouses and other infrastructures.
