We use this standard to design low-voltage electric cables that supply rated voltages up to 450/750V. EN 50525 applies to flexible Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) sheathed cables, PVC sheathed, and non-sheathed single-core cables. Common applications of these cables include domestic and industrial applications and equipment for fixed wiring installations.
