GB/T 19666 Standard Cables
GB/T 19666 standard specifies the technical requirements for the combustion characteristics of various cables including halogen-free, halogen-containing, low-toxic flame-retardant, low-smoke, flame-resistant wires, and optical cable products. The common conductors used are copper and aluminum while insulation materials used include XLPE for LSHF cables, PVC and mica tape for fire-retardant and fire-resistant cables respectively. These cables are handy in transport, industrial, and other infrastructures where emergency lighting and communications arise during fire outbreaks.
