Mineral Insulated Cables

Intro

Mineral Insulated (MI) Cables

Mineral-insulated cables are typically used in wiring installations exposed to very high temperatures. We use high temperature resistant materials such as mica tape and ceramic silicone rubber, so our mineral insulated cables have melting points up to 1083°C and 2800°C, and can continue to operate safely under load in the event of a fire. Our research and development team can support any custom or high standard product requirements, such as corrugated copper sheath. Our superior materials and structural design give our mineral insulated cables excellent electrical, mechanical and environmental properties. The cables supply power transmission and distribution lines at the rated voltage of 1000V AC. Common applications include high-temperature environments such as steel and iron smelteries, glass industries, etc.
